We exist to ‘paint the walls of the new generation in city, with the good news of Jesus Christ.’ Matthew 28: 18-20.
This is what we do to make it happen:
Pursuit
Pursuit is a youth service, which runs alongside ‘More’ prayer meeting on Tuesday’s, 7:30- 9:00pm and is for youth aged 10-18. This night has a chilled atmosphere where we put all we discover into practice. Interested? Come along to find out just what you could do with God in your life.
Friday Night Mad House
e@b’s Friday night alternative youth club. Running from 7:30- 9:00pm every Friday and ideally for the 10-15 aged group. We have a main event each week which consists of anything from bouncy castle’s to competitions, from silent disco’s to concerts, this night always has something different in the house which is definitely never boring. It only costs £1 but… bring a friend who has never been before and get in for FREE! Bring extra if you want to try out our Confec. stand if in need of added sugar or drinks. Check out our facebook page or the diary to see what’s happening.
Sunday Elevate
During the 11am service, we have Sunday Elevate which is a chilled out youth church that happens alongside the adult meeting. This will be a time where the young people will meet in order to explore just who or what a God could look like in your everyday environment. It aims to equip young people for life, and into a greater understanding of the Bible, friendships with others of similar ages, and life at schools and in families. Every month, there will fun, there will be exploration and there will be discovery. All in a youth church? Oh yes!
Above all…
“We work to help all individuals feel free to express themselves in a safe environment where all can feel secure and valued, therefore enabling them to develop confidence, respect for themselves and others, and self-discipline, in order to reach their full potential in God, and so be a witness to all who will see God through them”.
Hope to see you all around- for more info contact: lgoodway@elimbristol.org or visit the facebook page.
